A Message from Executive Director, Michelle Cirocco
|I am so excited to launch our first quarterly newsletter and share the wonderful work Televerde Foundation is doing. As you know, we are on a mission to enable currently and formerly incarcerated women to join and succeed in the global workforce. When we launched the Foundation, more than a year ago we wanted to make an impact. The outstanding results and transformations we have seen in such a short time proves that we are on the right track. My team and I are fortunate to see the huge strides our participants make towards their personal and professional goals on a daily basis. The sheer grit and determination of the women really inspires me to be better and do more, so that we can reach more women. This newsletter is our way of sharing their stories with you. We hope that the success of these women inspires you in the same way it inspires us every single day.|

A Second Chance: Why It Matters
“You may not care at all about who is incarcerated—many people firmly believe that if a person commits a crime, they should pay for it. I get it. I also felt that way too until my 20-year-old son was arrested, incarcerated, and housed in San Quentin for stealing a…” read more By: MJ Rose
The Road Less Traveled: Cristina’s Road to Self-Discovery
By Cristina E. Perryville Women’s Prison- Career PATHS Cohort May 2021
This isn’t the road I’m supposed to be on. For years I thought I was on the road less traveled: the road of self-discovery and non-conformity.
