As 2021 comes to an end, we’re reflecting on an amazing year. We accomplished so many great things, and we couldn’t have done it without you, our supporters! We asked some of our program participants, Foundation staff, and alumni to reflect on what they’re grateful for this year. Here’s what they had to say:

“This year I am grateful for the opportunity to have grown so much as a person and in my professional life. I am also grateful to all those who helped me along my journey, it means the world to me!”

Crystal F, Televerde Lead Development Rep., Career PATHS graduate

“I am thankful for the opportunity to redeem myself through education, employable skills, and hope for a new fresh beginning!”

Lara C, Televerde Customer Service Rep., PATHS Reentry Facilitator

“During my time with Televerde Foundation I have had the opportunity to experience many things. I feel a sense of worth and acceptance that I haven’t felt in years. My communication skills have improved immensely, and I have even been able to further my education! I am forever grateful for this change in my life. Without it, I don’t know where I would be. The changes I have made in myself make me so proud to look back on where I was, and where I am now. These changes have made me a better person in every aspect and have not gone unnoticed by anyone that is a part of my life.”

Joy F, Televerde Inbound Operator

“The Televerde Foundation has given me hope again. Once I was given my prison sentence, I didn’t see a promising future for myself. But, once I was accepted into Televerde Foundation, I had hope again. A future that can help me provide and take care of my daughter and myself.”

Brandee J, Televerde Inbound Operator

“The doors that have been opened to me by … Televerde Foundation will give me a solid foundation to land on when I am released.  Televerde Foundation has taken the guess work out of “What’s next for me when I am released?””

Connie B, Televerde Inbound Customer Service Rep.

“I am most grateful for the camaraderie I have built this year, the ladies that were in my class, the Center and all the facilitators in which I am a part of. With their help and motivation, I have a foundation in which has given me the opportunity and knowledge to set a path forward. Personally, the growth that I have made this year has been tremendous and I can finally see change and embrace it. I am ready to take on the next challenges with my new tribe standing behind me.”

Ashlee L, Televerde Lead Development Rep., Career PATHS graduate

“There is so much to be grateful for! If I must sum it up…I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had this year! The opportunities to learn and challenge myself in new ways, to work with really fabulous people (thank you ladies), to be the change that I want to see in the world, to see the impact of our work on the individuals, and to know that there is so much in store for the future.”

Michelle Cirocco, Televerde Foundation Executive Director

“I’m so grateful to be in a position to help other women. Getting to see the growth, perseverance, and triumphs of this amazing group of people is a real privilege. I’m grateful everyday to do work I’m passionate about, with people I’m lucky to work alongside and at an organization whose mission I deeply believe in.”

Oonagh McQuarrie, Televerde Foundation Programs Manager

“My motto is never give up and always find your silver lining. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting the women who are part of the Televerde Foundation. Just as the Phoenix is a symbol of hope, renewal, rebirth, immortality, resurrection, solitude, and grace. The phoenix emerges from its ashes, and so can a woman after devastation and loss. Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think and twice as beautiful as you’ve ever imagined.”

Dawn Coppens, Head of Business Development, Televerde Foundation

“I am grateful for my struggles because it has given me the strength and knowledge I have today.”

Shanya S, Trainer at LTS, PATHS Reentry graduate and mentor

“I am grateful to be able to work with so many amazing women and to see how they have transformed.”

Tina Schnaitman, Televerde Foundation Volunteer & Mentor Coordinator

This year I am truly grateful for having had the opportunity to be in the Telverde Foundation Career Paths Class. My gratitude for all the facilitators who contributed not only to our education but believed in us as the woman we were meant to be. Thank you! I can never find the words to express how you have helped me believe in ME! You all will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Rachel G, Career PATHS graduate, Community Bridges peer facilitator
