Golf lovers, philanthropists, and first-timers—grab your clubs because it’s time to swing for second chances at our second annual Televerde Foundation Charity Golf Classic! After last year’s roaring success, we’re gearing up for another round of fun, competition, and camaraderie at the stunning Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix on Thursday, Oct. 17. What I love most about this tournament is that it’s so much more than a golf event. It’s a chance to drive (pun intended!) transformative opportunities for incarcerated women, helping them tee up for successful reentry into society.

A Fairway to Make a Difference

Last year, we witnessed spectacular feats and heartfelt stories. Who could forget the “Most Honest Foursome,” who proved that sometimes the highest scores can win the biggest cheers? And let’s not leave out the epic “Longest Drive” competition, where our golfers showed that their driving skills on the course could match their drive to make a difference.

This year, we’re upping the ante. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a novice who can’t tell a putter from a driver, there’s a spot for you on our greens. And for those who fancy themselves as a bit of a challenge, try beating the pro in a one-on-one showdown or shoot for the stars (or at least the next fairway) with our air cannonball launch. Remember, every shot, every hole, and every laugh is in support of a stellar cause.

Our inaugural Charity Golf Classic was about laying down the foundation for futures. We raised funds and awareness with your support, significantly impacting many women’s lives. This year, every dollar raised will continue to support these talented and courageous women, funding programs that have already seen a job placement rate of 96% post-release—a clear hole-in-one achievement against national averages!
